Hello.
I am an adventure travel and landscape photographer from Longmont, Colorado.
Photography has been a passion of mine for a while. Even in high school, I found myself interested in the process of capturing photos and developing them on my own in the darkroom. There was just something kind of special about watching a photo you took materialize before your eyes as you moved from one solution to another. Over the years, I went from being fascinated with my grandfather’s Kodak camera collection to being fresh out of college and buying my first digital camera before honeymooning in Europe.
I started getting serious about photography after stumbling across an article on HDR photography written by Trey Ratcliff. I was so jazzed about what I had read and seen that I went out that very weekend to try the techniques outlined by Trey. I was blown away by the results I was able to achieve and ever since, I have been working on refining my photography skills and using it as an excuse to get out and travel.
I have always had a passion for travel and adventure. However, photography has inspired me to travel to many new places in order to take photos while scuba diving, hiking, camping, and experiencing other cultures and countries. The goal of this site is to share these images and adventures with you.
